In previous articles, I have presented the reasons that do not allow today’s supposedly democratic regimes to stop the frantic course of unfair and provocative distribution of the wealth produced. In the series of those articles I also presented a peaceful way, through which non-democratic regimes can be transformed into democratic ones, whose existence is essential for a market to function free. These ideas are found in greater details in my book entitled A Therapy for Dying Democracies, published by Dorrance Publishing Co., which aim at braking the course of corrupt capitalism and thus gradually freeing the free market from the chains with which it has been enslaved over time.
An important intervention in many areas of business’ activity is, in my steadfast opinion, the use of a special type of public company, by which it is possible to transform the market, controlled by speculators and monopolies, into a free one. The specificity of this company is due to the fact that it must satisfy certain prerequisites, which derive from a fundamental axiomatic principle of democracy that recognizes equal state or power status to each citizen.
On the basis of this principle of democracy, what could be the case in the field of consumption? But of course the obvious one which I call: consumerocracy, similar in meaning to democracy, where consumers in the field of consumption have equal power status, regardless of the volume of purchases made by each consumer. That is, the same low prices of goods and equal opportunities for all, something that unfair competition does not provide.
To deal with profiteering, the special type of company is used, which intervenes in ways that allow the instrument-tool of consumerocracy to give its customers-consumers the notorious equal state status. One way, in which the company achieves this for its clients, is the full return of its net profits to its customers-consumers, provided that the initial capital invested for the establishment of this special type of company remains at market value constant.
This solution is more just and, therefore, according to Socrates, also legal, than the act of subsidizing private individuals, who keep all the profits made with taxpayers’ money for themselves, or even the so-called vouchers or other type of aid to the needy, thus increasing the money circulating in the market for more profiteering. Apart from the fact that these measures are not proving effective, bribery of public officials is increasing. In addition, the new method of checking profiteering, works automatically, without having the need for audits and additional costs to create more auditors.
Another, also important, advantage of this way is that product advertisements, which contribute to increasing the selling price of products, will be significantly reduced, resulting in inexpensive products. In this way, the market is freed from all unfair interference and gradually acquires its regularity.
The company’s management, as far as executives are concerned, results from the government’s recommendation to now a democratic Parliament for approval. This creates a specific criterion for consumers to judge the government’s effectiveness in its effort to combat profiteering. For company executives, in addition to their salary, there may be a bonus based on the amount of the company’s produced net profits that now all return to consumers. This will also create an incentive for managers not to overload the company with idlers or employees who do not meet the qualifications.
Now concerning the question as to who will be the participants in the Directors’ Board of the company? The answer is they will come from the customers-consumers, who are selected by drawing lots from a group of volunteers representing gender, representation from all sectors of production, and meeting prerequisites related to knowledge and experience. The democratic representation of consumers in the company’s general assemblies arises in the same way as for in the case of selecting Board’s Directors. It should be noted here that cooperation within the framework of the company’s “stockholders meetings’’- here the consumers-, since its members will come from all political factions, may also operate as a good example for the necessity of cooperation between the political parties in parliament for the good of all.
Here, as in the case of the local party organization mentioned in my book, the customers-consumers are considered to be members of the Local Customer-Consumer Organizations (LC-KO), consisting each one of up to one hundred (100) members for the purpose of making proper direct democracy operations in the assemblies of the LC-KO, where democratic representations will ensue for the different organs and bodies, as an assembly for example. This new situation will force companies in the private sector and in the same area of activity of the so called special type of a public company to adapt all their activities, since now they will not have access to power for favors, to the new state of affairs in order for them to be able to keep their own clientele.

Well Said…
